Robert Browning

A professional musician since the age of 14, as of 2008, Robert has over 32 years experience playing all styles of music, and 26 years experience as an instructor. Although he studied to be a computer engineer in college, music was his calling so he left school in his third year to do studio work and perform. Since then he has been teaching the tricks of the trade to those who have the interest. Robert has also studied martial arts for 17 yrs., and is an avid golfer.

A Note from Robert

I have played in circuit bands all over, some signed some not, some good some not! Teaching for me came about from playing with great musicians who had no idea of what they were doing. So I would tell them. They thought I was speaking Greek or something. But being a very patient person, I found I had a knack for explaining the complexities of music in a way that could be easily understood. I enjoy jazz music, which seems to employ almost every musical concept and variation, that exists in music. So theory to me is the knowledge that allows you to create your own style.
